Welcome! My name is Hannah, I am the owner of The Creative Cottage. Based in my cosy Devon cottage, I provide Business Support Services to small and medium sized businesses across the UK and beyond. I help small creative businesses establish meaningful connections with their audience and develop tailored growth strategies that align with their values and ambitions. I have 15 years business development experience, I am creative, professional and love working with people. I am passionate about nature, and businesses with purpose that want to make a difference in our world.
Portrait Photography
I specialise in outdoor portrait photography; I love working in the natural environment with natural light. This kind of photography is ideal for personal branding, head shots or a special image to capture a significant moment in time.In recent years I most often use my mobile phone for these shoots. It may feel counter intuitive but not only are phones incredibly capable, they are lightweight and versatile and I have found it can lead to more 'natural' less forced moments, as people are less intimidated than by a big camera! However, if you would prefer your photography taken on my digital SLR I am very happy to do so.
Product Lifestyle Photography
Photography of your products in use and in beautiful settings can really enhance the marketing for your product. It enables customers to visualise and understand your product, as well as better grasp the quality and dimensions. Seeing the product in-situ is very persuasive! I have 15 years copywriting experience and am also a published author. Hello! I'm Hannah, owner of The Creative Cottage. I started The Creative Cottage in 2019, as a means of generating income in a more flexible way around parenting. I combined my experience in marketing, business administration and creative writing to provide a business support service for small and medium sized businesses.I lecture in Business part time and have a background in the creative industries - music venue management, publishing and marketing. I have found that my skillset is quite a rare blend because I am creative but also highly organised!
I specialise in helping small businesses to grow through developing their brand image marketing strategies. I work remotely but am very happy to travel and meet face to face. I am based in Devon, UK.I am married and have a young son.
